OUR WORK

A way to elevate African girls’ education and women’s voices is to let them tell their own stories.

We are including the African diaspora because they are a part of the African community. For example, an African-American can recognize and relate to the conversation, even bring more insights. All stories are interconnected and we can definitely see a connection as to what it is to be an African descendent woman and how to improve our visibility. When we tell our stories, we bring people together.

Women lack access to the decision making process. By telling our stories and bringing people together, we will reach a broader audience that would lead to a better comprehension, collaboration and transformation.

Last thing: the stories are more oftenly told by the African diaspora and we are also putting effort into bringing the stories of African women based on the continent too. Because we need women on the ground to speak about their issues and improvements, in order to get a better view at what needs to be done.
